EMPOWER 360 Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian corporation with its head office in British Columbia, Canada. We provide business consulting, technology, data, marketing, digital asset and training services, and we own and operate a group of businesses, brands and digital properties. By using our website or services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
For privacy questions or requests, please contact us through our contact form.
Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through this website, through our communications with you, and in connection with the services we provide directly as EMPOWER 360.
Businesses and brands we operate. Some of the businesses, brands, products and websites owned or operated by EMPOWER 360 have their own privacy policies. Where a separate privacy policy is posted for a specific product or service, that policy governs the personal information collected through it. Where no separate policy is posted, this policy applies.
Client data. When we deliver services to a client, such as systems integration, data migration, software development, AI solutions, CRM setup or marketing campaigns, we may access or process personal information that belongs to our client or its customers. That information is handled according to our agreement with the client and the client’s instructions, and is not governed by this website Privacy Policy. If you are a customer of one of our clients, please refer to that client’s privacy policy.
Third-party websites. Our website may link to websites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may also use information that has been aggregated or de-identified so it no longer reasonably identifies an individual, to understand trends, evaluate our services and make business decisions.
Marketing communications
Transactional and service communications are part of doing business with us. These may include booking confirmations, meeting reminders, proposals, invoices, payment notices, registration confirmations and messages related to services you have requested. These messages are not marketing communications.
We may separately offer you the option to receive news, insights, updates, offers or other marketing communications. We send these only where we have your consent or another basis permitted by applicable law, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.
You can withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional or service-related communications that are necessary to provide our services.

Processing outside Canada
Some of our service providers operate or use infrastructure outside Canada, including in the United States.
As a result, personal information may be transferred to, stored in or processed in another province, country or jurisdiction. When this happens, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, government authorities or national security authorities where permitted by those laws.
We remain responsible for handling personal information in line with applicable Canadian privacy requirements when we use service providers to process information on our behalf.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required or permitted by law.

- Email, technical and security records are kept for a reasonable period based on the purpose for which they are needed.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, destroy it or make it anonymous.
Backups. Deleted information may remain temporarily in secure backups until those backups are overwritten or expire through our normal backup cycle. Information kept only in backups is not used for ordinary business purposes.
We may keep information longer where reasonably necessary to comply with law, investigate fraud or security incidents, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or establish or defend legal claims.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights concerning your personal information. These may include the right to:

Some rights are subject to exceptions under applicable law. For example, we may need to limit access where providing information would reveal another person’s personal information, confidential business information, or information we are legally required or permitted to withhold.
To exercise a privacy right, contact us and provide enough information for us to identify you and the information involved. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before acting on your request.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law and generally aim to respond within 30 days.
Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place while your consent was valid. If you withdraw consent to information that is necessary to provide a service, we may be unable to continue providing that service.
Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or disposal.
The safeguards we use depend on the sensitivity of the information and may include access controls, authentication measures, encryption, restricted administrative access and other appropriate measures.
No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
If we become aware of a privacy or security incident, we will investigate and take steps appropriate to the circumstances, including providing notifications where required by applicable law.
If you believe information you shared with us has been accessed without authorization, please contact us right away.
